Sir, - It is admittedly possible that the uncanny resemblance of Bernard Madoff, as he appears in a picture on page 21 of Sunday's issue of the Jerusalem Post, to George Washington as found on the American dollar bill, might be attributed to pure happenstance.
Or perhaps it is possible that, in some mystical manner, a portentous message is being conveyed to us about the continuous weakening of, and loss of confidence in, the American currency.
